'America's Most Wanted' canceled

Lifetime has canceled long-running, crime-busting show "America's Most Wanted," EW has confirmed. Though there's another show on the horizon for host John Walsh, who is developing a pilot with Lifetime.

Fugitive accused of taking Highland Park woman’s $90,000 wedding ring arrested in East Texas... He was first arrested shortly after the January 2010 mugging, in which a woman in her 50s had her $90,000 wedding ring stolen outside the Whole Foods on Preston Road. Authorities say Fuller’s bail was supposed to be set at $500,000, but after a court mix-up he was released on $50,000 bail. He’s been on the lam for two years. Two weeks ago, however, Fuller was featured on America’s Most Wanted, and tips about his whereabouts poured in to the North Texas Fugitive Task Force.

'America's Most Wanted' canceled after 23 years on the air

"AMW" isn't gone for good. Fox will air four, two-hour specials throughout the year, in addition to repeats.
