CITY OF NEWBURGH — The Newburgh City Council on Monday accepted a $200,000 grant to fund resources for code enforcement targeting zombie or vacant properties in the city.The grant is part of a second round of funding through the state Attorney General's Office's Local Initiatives Support Corporation.City Building Inspector Bill Horton said the grant will allow his department to extend the Neighborhood Stabilization Coordinator position for two years.
