New Shopping Center Now Open In Ward Village

The Howard Hughes Corp.'s (NYSE: HHC) newest retail concept opened Friday in the 60-acre Ward Village master-planned community with a weekend of events planned for the grand opening. The 25,125-square-foot South Shore Market features a total of 18 locally owned restaurants and retail tenants. All but eight are open for business, five are opening next month and the rest will open by spring.
