A local political action committee has formed to support the city’s seven bond propositions slated for the Nov. 8 election. Unite for Amarillo, a group of of about 50 residents and business owners from all parts of the city, formed to educate voters about why their vote in favor of the $340 million in capital improvements is important, member Steve Pair said. To date, Unite for Amarillo is the only political action committee to officially register, city spokeswoman Sonja Gross said. read more
