NEW MILFORD — A man was found unconscious in a backyard pool Wednesday afternoon. The 80-year-old was found in the pool after police responded within minutes of a 1:40 p.m. call to dispatch. Police are still on scene investigating, said Lt. Larry Ash, spokesman for the New Milford Police Department. The man is receiving medical attention on scene, Ash said, adding that it seems to be accidental and not suspicious.
