New Milford Business Painted With Racial Slurs

DANBURY - A local business owner who recently moved his family to Connecticut for a better life was shocked Wednesday morning to find racial slurs painted across the restaurant he recently opened on Kent Road. David Thompson, who opened the Thompson’s Fine American Comfort Food about two months ago with his wife Senka, said he police called him Wednesday morning to inform him that racial slurs and a swastika had been spray painted across the front of the restaurant. “I’m really fearful for my wife and children, that’s my main concern right now,” said Thompson, who moved his family to Sherman two years ago from New York City for a better quality of life.
