Damon Wayans, Jr., who returned to New Girl on Tuesday, will stay on past his planned four-episode arc, TVGuide.com has learned. Wayans first appeared as Coach, one of the roommates in the loft, in the pilot for the Fox comedy, but could not continue because of his commitment to ABC's Happy Endings, which has since been canceled.
