NEW FAIRFIELD—The Republican and Democratic town committees have endorsed their slates of candidates for the upcoming elections in November. Susan Chapman, the Republican incumbent, was endorsed for her third full term as first selectman. She will be joined on the ticket with incumbent selectman Kim Hanson, also a Republican. Two members of the Inlands and Wetlands Conservation Commission received the endorsement from the Democratic Town Committee to run against Chapman and Hanson for the positions.
