BOSTON — Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night? Not exactly. The U.S. Postal Service says it won't be delivering mail to a large swath of the Northeast.Spokeswoman Christine Dugas says service will be suspended Tuesday in Connecticut, Rhode Island, southeastern and western Massachusetts and Long Island, New York, because of the snowstorm.Dugas says deliveries "will resume on Wednesday where it is safe to do so."
