The Institute of Politics at Harvard, in a national survey, asked 18-to-29-year-old “millennials” a basic question about what has driven their country for two centuries: “For you, personally, is the idea of the American Dream alive or dead.” Forty-nine percent answered that the dream lives, 48 percent replied that the American Dream is dead.
