GAINESVILLE — This week’s Florida-Florida State game is about as personal as it gets for Gators sophomore safety Jordan Castell.
The former West Orange standout grew up in a family of Seminoles fans, with his trash-talking grandmother Dessie the ring leader.
Florida’s Shemar James (6) and Jordan Castell (14) rejoice over an incomplete pass intended for LSU’s Mason Taylor during a 27-16 win in Gainesville.

MIAMI GARDENS — I don’t know how the Miami Dolphins got into this troubling situation with their backup quarterback, Skylar Thompson, who was benched after two plays in Sunday’s 34-15 win over the New England Patriots.

“I think by the letter of the law, Chris Grier is the man,” McDaniel said Monday.
