STOCKTON — The Nature Center at Oak Grove Regional Park, which had seemed destined for closure right up until Tuesday, will live to see another year despite the battering the San Joaquin County Parks and Recreation Department is taking in the 2018-19 budgeting process.The news of the Nature Center's salvation came during the Board of Supervisors’ daylong meeting Tuesday to review the new budget, which takes effect Sunday.
