(Bloomberg) — US President-elect Donald Trump warned the so-called BRICS nations that he would require commitments that they would not move to create a new currency as an alternative to using the US dollar and repeated threats to levy a 100% tariff.
“The idea that the BRICS Countries are trying to move away from the Dollar while we stand by and watch is OVER,” Trump said in a post to his Truth Social network on Saturday.
“We require a commitment from these Countries that they will neither create a new BRICS Currency, nor back any other Currency to replace the mighty U.

Since 2011, there have been two or more state champions annually from Broward and Palm Beach counties in boys basketball and this year should be no different.
Last year, Broward had the advantage as Pembroke Pines Charter and Sagemont each brought home the gold. For Sagemont, it was their third straight trip to the Class 2A finals and their second straight championship.
He left the game, the kind of game he was brought here to win, the kind of the game he helped revive a 2-6 season to have, still talking how he wanted this team to be. And it isn’t. It never has been under him.
