Nationals Vs. Mets: Solo Home Runs Aren’t Enough To Lift Washington

The Washington Nationals unleashed a rare display of hitting clout on Tuesday night, with three players belting home runs against the New York Mets. The catch was, they all were of the solo variety, and while the Mets didn’t collect more than a double all night, that was enough to send Washington to its fifth loss in six games, 6-4, and overshadow catcher Wilson Ramos’s first multi-homer performance.
