Nancy Pelosi Debuts Ridiculously Lame Nickname For Trump's Supreme Court

The Democratic Party was dealt a massive blow on Wednesday when the Supreme Court ruled on a pivotal union fees case, effectively sticking a knife in "the one remaining bastion of the American labor movement." But anyone worried about public unions, or future conservative court rulings, can rest assured: House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is here, and she has a witty nickname that is going to solve everything. Addressing the Supreme Court's union fees decision on Thursday, Pelosi said: "The Supreme Court became the Supreme Corp." In case you didn't catch that, she explained: "That's in short for 'corporation.' They are handmaidens of corporate America." Alas, cute nicknames might not be quite the "tooth and nail" tactics that some Democrats were hoping for. House Minority Leader Pelosi says following the Supreme Court's decision on union fees, "The Supreme Court became the Supreme Corp., that's in short for corporation.
