Former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) canceled her Washington Post subscription over the newspaper’s decision to not endorse in the presidential race, NBC News reports.
Said Cheney: “It’s fear. When you have Jeff Bezos apparently afraid to issue an endorsement for the only candidate in the race who’s a stable responsible adult because he fears Donald Trump, that tells you why we have to work so hard to make sure that Donald Trump isn’t elected.”
“More than a thousand religious leaders endorsed Kamala Harris on Sunday, bolstering the Democratic presidential nominee’s push to emphasize how faith is informing her campaign ahead of next week’s election,” CNN reports.
“An increasing number of Americans say Donald Trump is too old to be president — but not as many as when President Joe Biden faced similar concerns about his age over the summer,” The Independent reports.
“A new poll from YouGov found that 44% said Trump, at age 78, is too old to lead the executive branch.
“President Biden wants to campaign for Vice President Harris in the last days before the election,” Axios reports.
“Harris’ campaign keeps responding: We’ll get back to you.”
“Harris’ team believes Biden is a political liability at a crucial time in the campaign — but is reluctant to directly say they don’t want him to campaign for her.”
