An 80-year-old Minnesota man was killed Saturday when his motorcycle was struck from behind by an SUV while he was stopped at a traffic light near Falcon, the Colorado State Patrol said. Donald Danner of Inner Grove Heights, Minn., was stopped at a traffic light on eastbound Woodmen Road at Golden Sage Road around 9 a.m., when a Dodge Durango hit him from behind, throwing him from his motorcycle, State Patrol said. Danner, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Dodge, Melanie Garcia, 45, of Peyton, also was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries.
