A man fell asleep at the wheel before the rollover crash that killed himself and the mother of his two children while the family was driving near Lefthand Canyon on New Year’s Day, according to Colorado State Patrol. Joshua and Christina Gilson, both 43, were residents of Castle Rock and were identified Friday by the Boulder County Coroner’s Office.
