More Than Three Dozen Neglected Dogs Seized From Southern Colorado Home

A 58-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of animal cruelty after 37 neglected dogs were seized from her Penrose home Tuesday, the Fremont County Sheriff's Office said in a news release.Most of the dogs found in the home of Demaris "Dee" Chess were found to be thin, malnourished and dehydrated, the Sheriff's Office said.
