More Immigrants Using Military Service As Path To Citizenship

Garfield resident Cindy Urrea is one of nearly 110,000 immigrants who have become citizens while serving in the military since just after 9/11, when President George W. Bush signed an executive order that fast-tracked naturalization for immigrants serving in the armed forces, an order that remains in effect.
