By Bobby Harrison Daily Journal Jackson Bureau JACKSON – The Mississippi Adequate Education Program, the mechanism that provides the state’s share of the basics of operating local school districts, is underfunded by about $280 million under the proposal released Tuesday by the 14-member Legislative Budget Committee.
