From Staff ReportsMIDWEST CITY — Nonpartisan municipal elections for city council wards 2, 4 and 6 are set for February, but people must declare their candidacies this fall. Anyone interested in becoming a council member representing these wards must have been a Midwest City resident at least one year preceding the election and be at least 25 years old and a resident of the ward at the time of the election, according to a news release.
