Middletown Family's Memorial To Slain Son Causes Stir

MIDDLETOWN — To some, it's just a utility pole on Wallkill Avenue. To the family of Coree "CJ" White Jr., who was murdered beside it more than a year and a half ago, the pole holds much more meaning.Coree's mother, Emily Rivera, and his father, Corey White Sr., light a candle at the pole on the 18th day of each month, symbolizing another month passing after the death of their son on Aug.
