By Dennis Seid Daily Journal TUPELO – One of Hancock Fabrics’ former rivals is now the owner of the company’s intellectual property assets. Michaels, based in Irving, Texas, received approval from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Delaware to buy them for $1.325 million. IP assets include anything of value including the name, brands, trademarks, domain names and patents.
