Aurora police discovered the shooting around 2:15 a.m. Sunday when the injured victim walked into a nearby hospital with a gunshot wound, according to a news release from the police department. The unidentified victim told investigators the shooting happened just 20 minutes earlier, around 1:55 a.m., at Utah Park in the 1800 block of South Peoria Street, police said. When Aurora officers arrived at the park to investigate, they found two other victims who had already died from their injuries, police said. Investigators have not publicly identified any suspects but said they believe the shooting was an isolated incident among people who knew each other and that there is no threat to the public.
