The Mets’ fire sale continued right up to the end of Tuesday’s trade deadline. Outfielder Tommy Pham was dealt to the Arizona Diamonds in exchange for shortstop prospect Jeremy Rodriguez, the team announced Tuesday. The team also sent righty reliever Dominic Leone to the Los Angeles Angels. In exchange, the Mets received infield prospect Jeremiah Jackson, the team announced. The deals continued a fire sale that previously wasn’t expected out of a team that entered the season with the highest payroll in the major leagues.
