Metroparks Seeking State Grant For East Toledo Pedestrian Bridge

The Metroparks Toledo board of commissioners unanimously agreed Wednesday to have the park district apply for up to $400,000 in state money to help pay for a future pedestrian bridge and hiking trail across Main Street in East Toledo that’ll be used to connect its upcoming waterfront metropark in the Marina District with the city of Toledo’s existing International Park.
