BERRY McAFEE DYSON By Josh Mitchell Corinth Today CORINTH – The Alcorn County Sheriff’s Office, with the help of other authorities, made a large methamphetamine bust on Thursday, and three women are in jail. Alcorn County Sheriff Ben Caldwell said a little more than three pounds of meth was seized with a street value of more than $30,000. Three women, all of Corinth, were charged with aggravated trafficking of a controlled substance: Stephanie Dyson, 38 Linda Berry, 59; and Linda Mcafee, 33. As of Monday all three were still in the Alcorn County Jail on a $100,000 bond each. The bust was the culmination of an ongoing investigation that has been occurring over the past several months, Caldwell said.
