The Apple Watch will now be able to see the addition of a Mercedes-Benz app that allows users to interact with their vehicles from their wrists. In a press release, the automotive company states they are aiming to enhance “the digital customer experience with the introduction” of a new app as they respond “to customer demand.” With this, customers no longer need their smartphone for a number of tasks as several features are now accessible on their watch. “Key functionalities and features include real-time access to vehicle range based on its current location, as well as battery or fuel levels. “The Mercedes-Benz app on Apple Watch also enables users to remotely locate their vehicle and lock or unlock it from a distance.
