Mentor City Council this week mulled the administration's proposed Lagoons Nature Preserve policy and got an update on a long-awaited erosion-control project for the marina.The latter involves placing a stone revetment, or retaining wall, along 600 feet of the shoreline next to the marina.The estimated cost is $500,000 and city officials have been unable to obtain outside funding for the project.
