WOODS HOLE — After six months of planning, Charlie Gravelin finally had a chance to relax and enjoy himself in the company of friends Monday night while swapping sea stories about the ship they all have in common: the Coast Guard cutter Hornbeam.

    Memories of the old Chandel club I recall going to the Chandel club at the top of United Founders very young boy sometime in the late 60's. It was, at the time, pretty impressive especially with the revolving floor and the view of the entire city. .

  • Southside OKC Memories....anyone?
    I LOVE the OKC Memories thread, and have so enjoyed reading everyone's thoughts and memories of our wonderful city! My husband and I both grew up as "southsiders" but have since defected and moved north to satisfy our desire for an historic home. It doesn't hurt, either, that we are now each 5 and 7 minutes respectively from our jobs.

    I'll be 26 in September. I was born at Edmond Memorial Hospital in 1978, and my first home was right across the street from the hospital (now Edmond Regional Medical Center). My earliest memories of Oklahoma City go back to when Quail Springs Mall first opened in 1980. My mom bought me the General Lee matchbox car from Kay Bee Toys.
