The public will get a chance to comment Tuesday on a draft report on the practice of hydraulic fracturing, commonly called fracking.Last month, state officials released a draft environmental impact report that examines oil and gas well stimulation practices, such as fracking, on three oil fields, including the Sespe field in the Los Padres National Forest north of Fillmore.The report identifies several environmental risks, from air pollution to potential leaks, that cannot be prevented, even by placing conditions on drilling projects.
