MANDAN, N.D. (AP) — Montana-Dakota Utilities says its new gas-fired electric generator at the Heskett station in Mandan is ready. KXMB-TV (http://bit.ly/1ufPgwi ) reports that the 88-megawatt turbine has been completed after a little over a year of construction. Frank Morehouse is the chief operating officer of MDU. He says the $77 million project will share equipment and labor with the Heskett station, which will result in a more cost-effective operation.
