STAMFORD-The co-defendant of the 17-year-old boy who last week took a manslaughter plea for stabbing a man to death outside MacDonald’s two years ago, ended up taking his own deal during a brief hearing at the Stamford courthouse Friday morning. Senior Assistant State’s Attorney Paul Ferencek explained that McLamb had cooperated with the investigation and because a murder charge against Marquest Hall was untenable, he decided to work out an agreement with McLamb’s public defender Howard Ehring. Ferencek told White that after Hall stabbed Muralles the first time as the Guatemalan immigrant was walking out of McDonalds on Bedford Street on the night of March 11, 2015, McLamb then punched the older man several times in the face, allowing Hall to take his final and mortal thrust to Muralles’ heart, which killed him.
