The iconic golden arches got a little greener this week. Or at least they will by 2030. McDonald’s announced a new set of targets on Monday for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, the impacts of which the company compared to taking 32 million cars off the road for one year. Those goals include reducing emissions from McDonald’s restaurants and offices by 36 percent by 2030, compared to 2015 levels.
