Weekly, Daily, Hourly "Hourly," "daily," "monthly," "weekly," and "yearly" suggest a consistent approach to creating adverbial forms of time measurements, but the form breaks down both in smaller time units ("secondly," "minutely"—perhaps because of the danger of confusion with other meanings of those words) and in larger ones ("decadely," "centurily," "millenniumly"—perhaps because until recently events ... 01/1/2025 - 10:08 am | View Website
time Thanks jwpat7, the fact is I'd vote up your answer. One word appearing in two different questions don't make it duplicates. My guess it there might be one that I don't know of. 01/1/2025 - 12:07 am | View Website

What is the meaning of the phrase “The morning constitutional”? I have understood it to be Cockney Rhyming Slang. Constitutional-> Constitutional Right -> Word that rhymes with "right" which means poop. To such an extent, if someone said they were going for their"daily constitutional" and went a walk in the woods, I'd assume that they had a preference to poop in the woods. – 12/31/2024 - 2:09 am | View Website
Warning: This article contains spoilers for the ending of When the Phone Rings.
In today’s global media landscape, many TV dramas aspire to be as realistic as possible, hoping to reach viewers through a relatable premise and recognizable human behavior. When the Phone Rings, a Korean-language romance thriller that just wrapped up its 12-episode run on Netflix, is not such a drama.
Yesterday, on the first day of the new GOP-controlled Congress, a 78-year-old nut job hand-selected the unpopular Speaker, an 81-year-old GOP (NC-Q) congresswoman fell down the stairs, and a 91-year-old GOP senator with dementia is now third in the line of succession.

WASHINGTON — The congressional joint session to count electoral votes on Monday is expected to be much less eventful than the certification four years ago that was interrupted by a violent mob of supporters of then-President Donald Trump who tried to stop the count and overturn the results of an election he lost to Democrat Joe Biden.

This time, Trump is returning to office after winning the 2024 election that began with Biden as his party’s nominee and ended with Vice President Kamala Harris atop the ticket.
United States flags are set to be flown at half-staff this month as an official sign of grieving former President Jimmy Carter, who died on Dec. 29, 2024, aged 100. However, President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration day is set for later this month and he has expressed his discontent about the matter.
In President Joe Biden’s proclamation about the death of Carter, he directed that flags be flown at half-staff “as an expression of public sorrow” for 30 days—a period of time that includes President-elect Trump’s inauguration on Monday, Jan.

PLAINS, Ga. (AP) — Jimmy Carter ‘s long public goodbye began Saturday in Georgia, with the 39th U. S. president’s flag-draped casket rolling through his tiny hometown and past his boyhood farmhouse on its way to Atlanta, where he climbed the political ladder and based his decades of humanitarian work after leaving the White House.
The former president’s six-day state funeral started in Americus at the Phoebe Sumter Medical Center, where current and former Secret Service agents who protected the late president loaded his remains into a black hearse and walked alongside as it rolled off the campus toward Plains.
