A Master's Glass In Charity

In 2013 we met Larry Brown, a Stockton man so obsessed with collecting fine glass that he filled his home to bursting with it — then donated a truckload, 105 boxes, to charity.About $45,000 worth, from oil lamps to Waterford crystal, went to the astonished Assistance League of Stockton. Come Friday, 75 percent of Brown’s collection finally goes on sale.“The garage was full,” said the generous Brown, 77.
