Massachusetts' Newest State Senator Sworn Into Office

BOSTON — The newest member of the Massachusetts Senate has been sworn into office.Michael Brady, a Brockton Democrat, topped Republican state Rep. Geoff Diehl of Whitman in a special election last week to fill the seat left vacant in the 40-member chamber by the death of the late Democratic state Sen.
