I got to wondering how the homeless do it when it gets cold like this. So I walked to the park near Kennedy Plaza downtown and soon spotted a woman who looked the part.I approached her and she said yes, she’s living on the streets these days.Wasn’t she freezing?She smiled. “You get numb to it.” She had long brown hair and seemed upbeat.I asked why she’s homeless.“I have challenges,” she said.
