Marathon Petroleum And General Motors Slip, Citi Rises

NEW YORK (AP) — Stocks that moved substantially or traded heavily Friday on the New York Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq stock market: NYSE Citigroup Inc., down 6 cents to $44.92 The bank's profit shrank 27 in the first quarter, but its net income and revenue were greater than expected. Regions Financial Corp., up 26 cents to $8.74 The Regions Bank holding company reported a bigger profit and greater sales than expected. Marathon Petroleum Corp., down $1.52 to $37.90 Energy companies took losses as the price of oil fell. General Motors Co., down 16 cents to $30.56 The company is recalling 1 million Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickup trucks because of possible seatbelt problems.
