A pedestrian was struck and killed by a Regional Transportation District train in Denver’s Central Park neighborhood on Monday, police officials said. Denver police received a call about the crash near Smith Road and Quebec Street at 3:28 p.m. and investigators are still determining what happened, according to the agency. The unidentified person who died was an adult man. The northbound ramp from Quebec Street to Smith Road is closed for the crash investigation. There were 54 passengers on the A Line train at the time and none reported injuries, RTD spokesperson Marta Sipeki said.
