STAMFORD-A city man stabbed multiple times on a West Side street corner Tuesday afternoon is recovering in Stamford Hospital’s intensive care unit, police say. Earlier this year at the end of March, a 28-year-old man suffered three gunshot wounds after being struck by two bullets while in close proximity to the corner. Earlier this week, Jonathan Catchings, 29, was sentenced to 12 years in jail for shooting and killing Raymond “Tank” Hayward, near the same corner in May 2011.
