Man Sentenced In 2014 Head-on Collision

A Vancouver man who was driving drunk when he collided head-on with another vehicle near the Manor area pleaded guilty Tuesday in the 2014 crash. Shawn C. Gibbs, 39, was sentenced to 60 days on the jail’s work release program, if he qualifies — which allows him to work outside in the community and be confined when he’s not working — and 30 days on a work crew.
