STOCKTON — The man who died in a major collision that shut down part of the Crosstown Freeway in Stockton on Monday has been identified by the San Joaquin County Coroner's Office as Leroy Joe Rampoldi, 83, from Escalon.Rampoldi was driving a Ford F-150 pickup eastbound on Highway 4 near the Filbert Street offramp.His pickup was rear-ended by a Freightliner big rig hauling two full trailers in the right lane of the eastbound lanes at 2:28 p.m.
