New building for Pacific Northwest National Lab campus RICHLAND — The federal government’s Pacific Northwest National Laboratory will build a new $90 million energy sciences research building on its Richland campus.
A contract to design and construct the building has been awarded to a Houston-based team of Harvey Cleary Builders and Kirksey Architecture.

TALLAHASSEE — Don’t expect a special legislative session to address soaring costs faced by Florida condominium associations and owners.
Lawmakers will start addressing condominium issues when they hold committee meetings in the weeks before the 2025 regular session, which will start in March, new House Speaker Daniel Perez, R-Miami, said Tuesday.
Perez expects lawmakers to address condominiums during the regular session, rather than a special session, he said.
“I have heard the call for a special session on condos, just like the rest of us have,” Perez told reporters.
