SEATTLE (AP) — Officials in Seattle say both a 25-year-old man who dropped from an Interstate 5 overpass onto a passing vehicle and the driver of that vehicle have been injured. Seattle fire officials say the young man suffered life-threatening injuries when he hit the vehicle's windshield on Thursday. The Seattle Times reports that the 70-year-old driver was hospitalized with neck and back injuries. Authorities don't know whether the man jumped or fell. Freeway traffic temporarily backed up for miles as police and medics responded.
