CITY OF NEWBURGH — A man was found dead in his apartment on Farrington Street during a two-alarm fire that happened late Friday night, said Terry Ahlers, Newburgh's acting fire chief.It's the first time the department has discovered a dead body during a fire since 2013, Ahlers said, noting that an autopsy will determine the man's official cause of death.Ahlers said it appears the man lived alone.
