Man Charged With Using Gun To Steal Bike From Stamford Kid

Eli Castillo-Zavala, 24, of Manor Street, Stamford, was charged with first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery and Michael Steven Cortez, 19, was also charged with armed robbery and conspiracy. When they got there the 12-year-old robbery victim and his mother told police that he was on his bike in the park when was approached by five young Hispanic men. Broems said he and his squad canvassed the park and with the use of video cameras in the area developed a suspect.
