Man Charged With Manslaughter In Stamford Overdose Death

STAMFORD-A city man appearing in court on drug charges was taken into custody by Judicial Marshals Monday morning and charged with providing the heroin that contributed to the overdose death of a Stamford man in mid July. With the opioid epidemic raging in the state, James Pipicelli, 65, was charged with second-degree manslaughter and possession of narcotics and is being held in lieu of a 100,000 court appearance bond.
