Man Charged With Attempted Murder After Brutal Stabbing On Highway In Hollywood

A Miami man is charged in the brutal stabbing of a female victim on a highway in Hollywood over two weeks ago. Chason Williams, 42, was arrested Thursday and now faces one count of attempted first-degree murder for the attack that took place a little before 4 a.m. on Sept. 12 in the 1300 block of South Federal Highway, according to a news release from Hollywood Police. Police say Williams slashed the victim’s neck, stabbed her right hip, and cut her hands and fingers while she tried to defend her neck, according to an arrest warrant.
